Hi, I’m Joann Lui. I’m an architect and the founder of Women Architects Collective.
I wanted to talk to you about why I think Evelyn should be the next AIA President. Evelyn Lee has devoted her entire career to the architecture profession within the AIA. With Practice of Architecture and her continuous work in the AIA, she’s constantly offering tactical strategies to challenge architects to rethink what practice means to them through technology and innovation.
As an influential voice in our industry, I invited her to be a speaker at our First Women Architects Festival, where our community learned from her experience working in between architecture and technology.
As an advocate and mentor, she’s constantly giving advice and helping and mentoring generations of architects.
As a friend, she has personally helped me through a lot of big decisions, important decisions throughout my entire career, as an architect.
Evelyn has been the new voice in our industry and she’ll be a great leader to propel our industry forward as the AIA President.
