I’ve known Evelyn a long time and the generous leadership she epitomizes is exactly what the Institute needs to be the bigger tent. David James Crawley (Jamie) is a naturalized Texan originally from Montreal, Quebec Canada who was named one of 18 National Young Architect of the Year honorees in 2018 by the American Institute of Architects.
Jamie is a graduate of Texas A&M University’s College of Architecture, a registered Architect in the State of Texas and certified as a LEED Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council.
With prior architectural education experience, he continues to participate and lecture at industry conferences on sustainable design, historic preservation, drawing, advocacy and education.
