Evelyn Lee, FAIA | NOMA

Candidate for 2024 First VP | 2025 President

Eric Burnside, CKLD

I first met Evelyn Lee through the AIA Christopher Kelly Leadership Development Program. She spoke to our group of leadership scholars and displayed such a fresh perspective, an optimistic perspective on how architecture as a profession can absorb and process changes to the technological, generational, demographic, and cultural shifts we are experiencing with both, empathy and dynamism.

I have been a devoted listener to her podcast, Practice Disrupted, and she represents to me a new and positive direction for the AIA. She should be the next Vice President-elect of the American Institute of Architects because she represents what I wish to see from the architecture field. That is where being an architect means something broader, more inclusive, hybridized and dynamic than it has ever been before.
